Womens Yellow Unitard

household in tomatoes

I'm sorry for those who have not had a good harvest or luck this summer with their garden ... but me ... PU I'm able to eat tomatoes! I really dislike! I am looking for how to move those who continue against all odds to mature. O) I think I found something, I'll put it here if it works ...

meantime, it's not just tomatoes in life. There as renovations. Unfortunately, for this post, the two are linked. Our entry will soon be paved to the fence. To do this, workers must have access to the said fence, which is currently blocked by-easy-to-guess a tomato plant:
This plant is the monster that I mentioned earlier. A yellow cherry tomato plant, which gave me far 1130 tomatoes. I swear, I counted close to the tomato (thanks to my excel file).

This plant is so big that we can not close the door. At least until this morning, in anticipation the arrival of the workers, I cut half. I counted 350 cherry tomatoes are still green. I am too busy with the already mature, so I left the green with compost.

Here the plant view of the court: And here's what I removed: A promise to myself: next year, I prefer the cultural diversity rather than monoculture o) and 18 plants is enough. Hehe.

How To Disable Web Filtering Fortiguard

Crops Daily

I speak little, but I continue to harvest tomatoes and beans at a fairly amazing. To say that we often eat salads is an understatement. I try to vary presentations (sauces, soups, garnish), but say there is not a meal without tomato at me right now. I get my family to dinner tonight. I hope they know they will eat tomatoes.
I seem to complain, but in truth I am very happy! I really had a good harvest this summer. I started my tickets on different kinds of tomatoes. I think also in my garden next year. I want a bit more varied. I know it means a smaller harvest and choices to make, but at the same time, I have carrots, more lettuce and try the potatoes. I still have the long winter months to think about this!

Congratulations On Baby Shower

Cream tapioca fruit

When we were little, my sister and my father always wanted to make tapioca. My sister used terms that I loath frankly: "yum, a good many gelatinous tapioca , while still hot , which tastes eggs. Yarker. I've never been particularly attracted by the tapioca.

At my birthday last year, I received the book O'Gleman Genevieve, "Healthy Lunch Boxes." It is an exciting book (which excellent pun), which always makes me hungry. This is my bedside book o)

recipe tapioca has managed to inspire me: Strawberry Cream tapioca. The idea is simple: the tapioca flavored with a fruit puree. I did it with strawberries in June and I have just completed a mega batch fisheries. It's really good and it makes a different dessert dairy yogurt.

Tapioca is not a pretty picture. I tried but I did not like the result, o)

tapioca cream with strawberries (or peaches)
- 2 cups fresh strawberries or frozen
- 1T 1 / 2
milk - 1 / 4 t. sugar
- 3 tbsp tapioca soup (small box at the grocery store) quick-cooking
- 1 tsp teaspoon vanilla

In blender, cut the strawberries into puree. We must get a cup of puree.

In a medium saucepan, mix all ingredients together over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring often.

soon as mixture reaches the boiling point, remove from heat and let cool, stirring regularly. The cream will thicken as it cools. Divide into 4

and chill.

Applesauce

Yesterday we went apple.
We were three families. A family took 3 pounds of apples. Another 7 pounds. Another 26 pounds. Guess what family we were ...
Obviously, the 26 books. My lover, very patient with all my stories of "stores", simply smiled.

So we had half the apples for eating and one for making sauces. Three kinds of apples were available: Lobo, Macintosh and the M. .. It's silly, I have a memory lapse. But hey, this third type was for the compote.

I am inspired by the site Vincent and compote. Apples are acidic enough for sterilization in boiling water (20 minutes for 1 liter pots). I was happy because I could use my big pots. About 13 pounds of apples have given me 5 net pots of 1 L and 750 ml. I put a little sugar (the equivalent of 2 tablespoons per liter), even if it is not necessary. However, the sugar keeps them over a week once opened. This large format will likely be required over a week to get eaten.

I'm really happy. Increase my supply o)

First use of the autoclave (Yé)

Two years ago, I discovered the site Vincent canneux . I was already interested in food and provisions, it therefore fell within the meaning that I developed an interest in canned foods. My first experiences this summer brought to me rather interested to canned unsweetened (style chutney, salsa) or marinades.

To make a long story short, it's been two years that I am interested in autoclaves. LL'autoclave safely used to seal canned non-acidic. Some examples: spaghetti sauces, vegetables, meats, etc.. An autoclave is "walking" in the family. It was not used because a missing piece (weighing). I sought and obtained the autoclave and alert technology-mail to Boutik Élextrik later, my retort was functional. (I also changed the seal for more care).

Today I tried it for the first time. For this first, I wanted to make a simple and inexpensive recipe, in case I would miss my shot. I chose, always on the site of Vincent, to make canned green beans . $ 5 for the ByWard Market in Ottawa, I had a pound of beans to play with my new toy. My mother having made me afraid this week ("Take mittens and still pay attention, it can explode "), I was slightly nervous. Let's say I have not particularly enjoyed the moment of opening the autoclave, but everything went like clockwork and my pots appear securely sealed. I am now the proud owner of 7 pots of green beans (5 bean full of beans and 2 off). I really look forward to more! Tomatoes and spaghetti sauce are next on the list! Yay! Ricardo

Pasta piperade

The last is really inspiring. The food magazines always seem to fall more appetizing than other seasons.

Here, we're fans of pulp allarabiatta Josée di Stasio. We find almost the same ingredients in pasta piperade Ricardo, except crushed tomatoes that are replaced by the peppers. Really good.

Pasta piperade (Ricardo)
375 g. short pasta 2 onions chopped

4 peppers into strips of various colors
1 pinch red pepper flakes (2 small birds for me ... and it was not spicy enough for my taste)
1 / 2 t. olive oil 4 cloves garlic

chopped 1 tsp tomato paste
tomato 1 / 4 cup chopped parsley

Cooked pasta. Drain and lightly oil. Book.
In a large skillet over high heat sauté the peppers, onions and peppers in oil for about 10 minutes until lightly browned. Add salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium, add garlic and tomato paste. Cook 1 minute. Add pasta and parsley and heat through.

For a complete meal, you can add
- a can of tuna in oil
- Italian sausage cooked and sliced finament (my choice ... excellent choice!)
- Parmesan cheese (my choice too; o )) really a nice alternative to try in time of the peppers.

is really my favorite flower. Pure white in August, he recently spent almost raspberry pink.
I have a slight obsession with pink ... Hémérocale pink.
Small yellow chrysanthemums chick.
Rose in name unknown ... It has a single flower, but what flower! She has been there for 2 weeks and is still as beautiful. It smells of raspberry. yellow Rudbeckia. That
